No Contact Drop Off is Here!

NOTE: This information was accurate during the 2020 election. For 2024, most municipalities will have multiple drop boxes for absentee ballots. Use the links below to reach your clerks office for updated locations.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, you want to be able to vote but stay safe too. So you decided to Vote From Home. You’ve applied for and received your absentee ballot. You’ve studied the candidates and figured out who to vote for. Now comes one last decision.

How do you get your ballot back to the clerk?

To be counted, a ballot must arrive at the clerk’s office by 8 p.m. on election day. Delays with the postal service have been worrisome. If you plan to mail it back, how much time should you give it to arrive? 5 days? 10 days?

You can eliminate those concerns by dropping it off in person. Drop boxes are available 24/7 and you don’t have to go inside the building if you don’t want to.
Here are photos of the drop boxes for each of the 4 cities/townships in the Ypsilanti Area. Be sure to go to the correct one!

- If you need help getting to a drop box or to the clerk, please call your city clerk’s office.
